Description
Accident Safety Plan (Sample) Drawings Solicitation The work consists of replacement of the heating system in the maintenance building and the boiler in the dam pylon building at Kinzua Dam in Warren, PA. The contractor shall provide all equipment and materials necessary to complete the work. All material provided in the performance of this contract shall be new and unused and meet the requirements of the specifications. The Boiler replacement in the dam is located in the pylon building in the dam. The work consists of furnishing and installing a new boiler in the Pylon Building at Kinzua Dam. This work includes all necessary work to complete the installation of the new boiler, supply and return shut-off valves, copper connection piping, venting, wiring and all equipment necessary to adapt the new boiler to the existing heating system; and all other incidental work necessary to complete the installation of the system. The heating system replacement in the maintenance building is located in the maintenance building for the dam. The work in the maintenance building consists of the removal and disposal of an existing oil-fired furnace in the shop area, two unit heaters in the garage area, a fuel oil tank, and the vents and piping system servicing the existing heating equipment. The Contractor shall install a new liquid propane tank, piping and appurtenant items required to power two new LP infrared heaters in the garage area and a new liquid propane furnace in the shop area. This work shall include: all necessary work to complete the installation of the new equipment; all piping, venting, flashing, ductwork, wiring and all other incidental work necessary to complete the installation of the system. The estimated cost of the proposed work is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set Aside Firm Fixed Price acquisition. All responsible offerors are encouraged to participate. The work shall be completed within 90 calendar days after written Notice to Proceed. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued approximately 3 September 2015, online through Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) and Federal Business Opportunities (FBO.gov), therefore, requests for hardcopies of the solicitation will not be honored. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must register as an interested vendor on the FBO.gov website. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible with providing notification of any changes to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) before receiving a contract award (go to www.sam.gov to register). The NAICS for this procurement is 238220 quote mark Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors quote mark and the small business size standard is $15,000,000 Million.
