Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP); the solicitation number is VA118-15-R-0636 (see attached document: FINAL_VA118-15-R-0636.doc). Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center, located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ, intends to enter into a contract with a 12-month Base Period and four (4) 12-month Option Periods for a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) encoder/bill scrubbing software suite solution with enterprise level software licensing. The Contractor shall provide a COTS software solution to include updates to the application, compliance with International Classification of Diseases (ICD) translations, provision of a centralized reporting module for monitoring productivity, and technical support. Optional tasks are included to provide Chart Management, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), VERA analyzer, training, and improved reporting features if exercised by the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code/Size is 541519. This solicitation shall close on September 18, 2015 at 3:00pm EST.
