Description
This is a modification of a previous announcement of solicitation R14PS00137 dated June 10, 2014 and amended on June 14, 2014. The synopsis is modified as follows: From: The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office, has an unrestricted solicitation for SWAT training in Grand Coulee, WA. Detailed specifications for this requirement will be available under solicitation R14PS00137 to be issued on or before 06/11/2014. THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO ISSUE UP TO THREE (3) LIMITED SOURCE AWARDS TO DOUGLAS, GRANT, OKANOGAN, SPOKANE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICES AND/OR COLVILLE TRIBAL POLICE DEPARTMENT. Firms believing they can provide the service required must provide written notification to the listed Buyer with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations and award of this requirement will not be delayed to qualify a new contractor. To: Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) joint operations training at Grand Coulee Power Office (GCPO), Grand Coulee, WA. The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) has a requirement for dedicated tactical response services training of personnel in Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT). The training is required to maintain a high level of tactical readiness of surrounding law enforcement tactical teams and perform personal contacts as customary and necessary for preparedness to threats to National Critical Infrastructure. Reclamation will fulfill this training requirement by awarding to two (2) independent tactical teams. This was an unrestricted set-aside for a base year with options for two additional years and an additional six month extension period IAW 52.217-9 Contract award number R14PC00121 for total dollar amount of $228,626.96 was awarded on 09/17/2014 to City of Moses Lake. Reclamation intends to exercise option year 1 of this requirement in accordance with FAR Part 17.207 Classification Code is R - Professional, administrative, and management support services.
