Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to issue a sole source modification of contract N00244-13-P-0584 in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13.5 to the Corporation for Educational Network Initiatives in California (CENIC), 16700 Valley View Ave. STE 400, La Mirada, CA 90638-5830. The proposed modification action is for the increase of network bandwidth speed from 10G to 100G. Please see attached Justification and Approval (J and A) document attached. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. CENIC was found to be the sole provider of this network subscription in the United States of America. No other company is known to provide this type of compatible network subscription. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. The NAICS code is 518210 and the applicable business size is $30M. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, fax number, county, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Responses are due by Thursday, September 17, 2015 12:00 PM, Pacific Daylight Time, via email only. If no responses are received, FLCSD will proceed with the sole source modification.
