Description

On 3 September 2015, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) awarded a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Mission Systems and Training (LM MST), Liverpool, NY, in the amount of $25,108,877 ($71,086,405, inclusive of all optional line items) for two twin line towed array (TL-29A) systems, a U.S. TL-29A spare array, a towed array conversion, engineering services, material, travel and provisioned items under the Maritime Surveillance Systems Program Office, PMS-485, Program Executive Office Submarines, Naval Sea Systems Command. The contract is a hybrid of cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price line items. The base period of performance is 12 months, plus three 12- month option periods. The two TL-29A array systems are to be delivered no later than 2 August 2017. LM MST is the only responsible source as evidenced by the Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (J&A) Number 17,249 (attached in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.305.)
