Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, Michigan, 48602, intends to issue a solicitation requesting quotes to provide all labor, parts, equipment, travel, supervision, and management necessary to be able to provide preventive maintenance and repair of all automatic door operators in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and Price/Cost Schedule. Contractor shall perform preventive maintenance inspections to tighten, adjust, clean and lubricate door operators. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, equipment, travel, supervision, and management necessary to be able to provide emergency service performed outside the normal hours of coverage of all automatic door operators as listed in the SOW. The contract is for the period of the Date of Award through September 30, 2016, plus four (4) one (1) year option(s) period(s) (if exercised). The VISN 11 Contracting Office anticipates entering into a Fixed Price contract that can provide the best value to the Government. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210 with a business size standard of $38.5 million. This acquisition will be made according to FAR Part 12 and 13. All potential bidders MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and show as 'Active'. The Registration in SAM is a requirement in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. The solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fedbizopps.gov. No Fax or email Bid Packages shall be accepted. The solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on or about September 9, 2015. NOTE: No phone, fax or email inquiries will be taken for this Pre-Solicitation Notice.
