SECTION A - CONTRACT REQUIREMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Cooperative Studies Program requires a rewire of the LAN Network Cabling System. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83, effective September 03, 2015. The solicitation number is VA258-15-Q-0734, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is set-aside for 100% Small Business. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 541511 Computer programming services, custom, with a small business size standard of $27.5 Million. The period of performance will begin on 09/28/2015. This combined synopsis/solicitation is not to be construed as a commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order, in accordance with FAR 13.5, and subject to the provisions and clauses listed in the formal VA solicitation format as follows.
