Description

Attachment 1 to FBO Synopsis for Simplex Grinnell System Preventative Maintenance The Western NY Medical Health Care System intends to procure one base year and four option periods consisting of one year each, of preventive maintenance of the Simplex Grinnell system already installed in the Buffalo, NY VAMC on a sole source basis from Simplex Grinnell. The work to be performed is the preventative maintenance, testing, predictive maintenance, component replacement and the installation of any proprietary software, software upgrades and proprietary passwords related to the fire alarm systems currently installed at the Buffalo VAMC. Contractor will inspect, test, service and maintain the fire alarm system. Inspection, testing, service and maintenance shall satisfy the requirements of the latest edition of NFPA 72 "National Fire Alarm Code" and the equipment manufactures' instructions. Each preventive maintenance call will be schedule by Contractor so that all tasks are performed using properly trained technicians and special tools and instruments required to maintain the system at optimal performance. To ensure that only properly trained technicians are being used, a copy of all licenses, certifications and/or proof of industry specific training for each technician are to be provided to the Contraction Officer before any work may be performed by that technician. Interested parties should contact the Government Point of Contact designated herein before 9/14/2015.
