Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a purchase order for software maintenance to Aperta Inc. on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This maintenance is required to ensure continual operation of debt management check processing. VA currently owns perpetual Aperta software licenses. Due to proprietary constrictions, it is necessary for all software maintenance be done by the original manufacturer, Aperta Inc. A solicitation is expected to be posted by September 14, 2015.
