SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT The 4th Contracting Squadron (4 CONS) is seeking sources to provide the following items: one (1) Multiflash Pensky-Marten Closed Cup (PMCC) Base Console (SETA Model 34000-0 U or equal) one (1) Multiflash PMCC Module (SETA Model 34100-2 or equal) two (2) Flash Detection Probe (SETA Model 34100-001 or equal) one (1) PRT Probes (SETA Model 34100-002 or equal) two (2) Hot Wires (SETA Model 34100-004 or equal) one (1) Stirrer Drive Shaft (SETA Model 34100-010 or equal) CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: 4th Contracting Squadron 1570Wright Brothers Ave Seymour Johnson AFB NC 27531 INTRODUCTION: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT to determine the availability and technical capability of large and small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required products and/or services. The 4th CONS is seeking information for potential sources for a contractor that will be required to furnish the above items. DISCLAIMER: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: • Capable of performing the following tests: Pensky-Martens Closed Cup (PMCC), Abel Close Cup, Tag Closed Cup, Cleveland Open Cup, and Smale Scale Rapid Equilibrium Closed Cup • Conforms to the requirement of each test method • Electric Ignition • Centigrade and Farenheit Temperature Display • Radio paging accessory (to alert operator at the end of the test or if an operation problem) • Automatic flash detection SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: • None NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE: The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334519 with a corresponding size standard of 500 EMP. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Responses should include: 1) Business name and address; 2) Name of company representative and their business title; 3) Large or Small Business Size and Type of Small Business (if applicable); 4) Cage Code; 5) DUNS Number; 6) Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than three pages) demonstrating ability to perform the services listed in this Technical Description. Documentation should be in bullet format. Vendors who wish to respond to this should send responses via email NLT 10:00 AM EST by 11 September 2015 to john.parker.24@us.af.mil. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All government and contractor personal reviewing sources sought responses will have signed non-disclosure agreements and understand their responsibility for proper use and protection from unauthorized disclosure of proprietary information as described 41 USC 423. The Government shall not be held liable for any damages incurred if proprietary information is not properly identified.
