Description

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with DT Technologies for an IDENTICA BLUE Scanner Package and a sintering furnace for the Clement Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The scanner packages must produce high quality dental scans/models in order to accurately fit the mouths of patients. The system must be compatible with IMMES ICORE 450i Milling Machine. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services to the Contracting Officer by 11:00AM (CST) September 16, 2015. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent electronically to the Contracting Officer at Daniel.rasmussen@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with DT Technologies.
