- DFARS 252 209-7992 and DFARS 252 203-7998 Brand Name Letter REDACTED Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - F1S0AE5169B001 THIS IS A BRAND NAME ACQUISITION AND IS A SMALL-BUSINESS SET ASIDE. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Supplements, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-83 and DFARs Change Notice (DPN) 20150826. NAICS is 334511 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing a QUANTITY OF ONE (1) EACH - PORTABLE AIR VEHICLE BUS TESTER, PART # W1S18076A0507PS; BRAND NAME: AIM-USA, LLC., which includes the following specifications: Minimum Salient Characteristics (Brand Name Criteria): One (1) Each - Portable Air Vehicle Bus Tester, Part # W1S18076A0507PS; BRAND NAME: AIM-USA, LLC. Technical: - Analyzer Capability: - Portable unit for use in a lab and/or aircraft site - LCD display and keyboard user interface - Monitoring, recording, replaying, simulating and troubleshooting of 8 dual redundant channels of MIL-STD-1553 bus - Monitoring, recording, replaying, simulating and troubleshooting of 32 channels of ARINC 429 bus - Monitoring, recording, replaying, simulating and troubleshooting of one ARINC 708 bus - Monitoring, recording, replaying, simulating and troubleshooting of one Fibre Channel port. - IRIG-B Time Encoder/Decoder - Onboard oscilloscope display for 1553 waveform analysis - Compatible with LabVIEW software - Gigabit Ethernet ports - IRIG-106 Chapter 1O ingest/playback capable - Control systems: - Standard PC controlled system - Menu driven control software - One software application shall provide setup and control of all bus cards. - Software shall provide engineering unit conversion and display capability. - PC must operate on Win 7 Service pack 1 or greater. 64 bit software encouraged. - Underlying operating system and shared files can accept security patches and upgrades (OS patches can be applied.
