Description

Sole Source Justification This is a Notice of Intent. A written solicitation will not be issued. The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Huachuca Division intends to solicitg and negotiate with Ixia of Calabasas, California 91302 on a basis other than full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(l), Other Than Full and Open Competition, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested persons may identify their capability and respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is nto a request for competitive quotations. However, the Government will consider all responses received within seven days after publication of this Notice of Intent. The contract will be awarded to Ixia, Cage Code 1SBC9, for the procurement of the following items: 1) Extended maintenance renewal for software prodcuts; 2) Extended maintenance renewal for IXOS Core software; and 3) Extended Warranty Renewal for Ixia Hardware products.
