- Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, and supplies to provide fire alarm supply services for Homestead Air Reserve Base. The contractor is responsible for the supplying of the fire alarm equipment and the incidental installation associated with the materials supplied. Contractor shall provide all supplies (batteries, strobes, horns, detectors, etc), hardware, manpower; equipment (i.e. dollies, hand-trucks, ladders, tools, etc.) required to accomplish the installation of fire alarm equipment. Homestead Air Reserve Base has about 45 buildings that need to be serviced for this requirement. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561621 with a size standard of $20.5 million. The solicitation package will be available on or about September 9, 2015. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: https://www.fbo.gov. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, it is the bidder's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information. All advertisements of Mobile District projects will be through the Federal Business Opportunities (FebBizOpps). All notification of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the internet. Therefore, Offerors who have registered are required to review Federal Business Opportunity for any posted changes to the solicitation.
