- AMENDMENT 0001 N00164-15-R-JQ73 - CREW SERVED DAY/NIGHT WEAPON SIGHT - FSG 58 - NAICS 333314 Issue Date: 04 SEP 2015 - Closing Date: 18 SEP 2015 COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane is issuing amendment to the synopsis to provide additional information to industry to review and provide response as part of market research. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the controlled attachments. Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The controlled attachments will be posted to FedBizOps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. Special Notice: The Government anticipates issuing solicitation for Crew Served Day/Night Weapon Sight (M2WS) first quarter fiscal year 2016. A Request for Information (RFI) has previously been issued under announcement number N00164-15-S-NB16. The Government is posting the final draft Statement of Work, final draft Performance Specification, and final draft section B, H, L and M of the solicitation for review and to receive responses and questions from potential sources to further evaluate potential sources capabilities and ensure that adequate competition is achieved as a result of the subsequent solicitation. The Government requests that potential sources identify any Government Furnish Property required for the design of the M2WS. The Government highly encourages potential sources to provide a response to the attached documents. The Government intends to use the information provided to refine the Government requirements. Potential sources are requested to provide information on a potential solution based on the ability to meet the draft final documents (attached). If a potential solution meets some requirements but does not meet others, please highlight and address what can and cannot be reasonably met. For those requirements that cannot be met, please describe the reason for the shortfall in detail. It is further requested that estimated delivery timelines be provided. Sources are requested to provide information on thresholds and objectives that drive delivery timelines and cost. Sources are requested to provide estimated production lead times for test articles and production, to include number of systems that could be reasonably delivered per month. The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.
