- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate with and award to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation - Aerospace Systems (NGSC-AS), San Diego, CA, a delivery order under its Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-15-G-0026 for non-recurring drawing updates and recurring modification kit delivery for the MQ-8B Fire Scout Avionics Bay resulting from Engineering Change Proposal ECP-MQ-8-013. The proposed contract action is for drawing updates, access panel upgrades and modification kits to support the avionics bay redesign, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No phone inquiries will be entertained. Responses shall be made in writing by E-mail, U.S. mail or facsimile to the attention of Eric Waterman or Erik Barkhimer using the contract information provided in this synopsis.
