Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisitioin regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00124-15-T-0419 This RFQ documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-76 and DPN 20140828. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. Government intends to award a Sole Source Purchase order to the Large Business Ithaka Harbors, Inc, DBA JSTOR as they are the provider of the collections required. The NAICS code is 511120 and the Small Business Standard is 500 Employees. The Government will award a Large business sole Source firm fixed Priced Purchase order. The Naval War College (NWC), Newport, RI has a requirement to acquire Library Collects as listed below. Even though a Firm-Fixed Price/Sole Source Purchase order is anticipated, interested firms or persons may identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Joseph Almeida (401) 841-3688, Email: joseph.almeida@usnwc.edu. All such proposals for consideration must be received by the Contracting Officer by 02:00 pm (EDT) on 09 Sept 2015.
