Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to provide a design concept for a winch manifold to eliminate the four blanking plates from the BRRR-6B manifold and replace the 5219870 servo control valve with a modern and readily available servo control valve. The winch manifold will be upgraded to contain valves that will isolate the servo control valve from the hydraulic system during maintenance for troubleshooting. The servo control valve will be updated to a modern and quieter servo control system. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive basis. However, all proposals received prior to September 8th, 2015 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
