- Description
- The Government intends to solicit with only one source, FLIR Systems, INC. This procurement is for Radar Ranger R2 Perimeter Surveillance Radar(PSRS STS-350). As such, this requirement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance FAR 13.501. This Agency intends to enter into a firm-fixed-price contract with FLIR Systems INC, for the acquisition of two Radar Ranger R2 Perimeter Surveillance Radar(PSRS STS-350). This item is the only item approved by USAF/A4S for the use on AF systems. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer No Later Than 3 September 2015, 11:00AM CMT. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the Sole Source acquisition.
