Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice and this notice is being issued for market research purposes only. This notice is not a Request for Quotation or Proposal (RFQ/RFP) and a solicitation is not being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition methodology. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested may assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition methodology. The Veterans Affairs, VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources for a potential brand name or equal purchase order for various dental supplies and equipment from Ivoclar Vivadent Inc. for the VA Loma Linda Medical Center. See list below. The response must also identify whether or not the suggested platform, in its entirety including services, equipment, reagents, etc., is either all on an FSS/GSA/NAC contract or, some or all is open market. In addition, the response should identify whether or not subcontractors would be utilized and if yes, then what percentage of the work will be performed by the subcontractor(s) as well as their socio-economic category. Responses to this notice shall be via e-mail response to Jeffrey.Ragsdale@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than September 4, 2015 at 4:00 PM PST. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only and a solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
