- DESCRIPTION 1) CXM-10 Type III (HMX, Grade B, Class 3 coated with IDP) (Quantity - 1,350 lbs.) 2) CXM-10 Type II (HMX, Grade B, Class 2 coated with IDP) (Quantity - 450 lbs.) 3) Trinitrotoluene - TNT (MIL-T-248 Type 1) (Quantity - 250 lbs.) PROCUREMENT TYPE The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis this requirement, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to BAE Ordnance System, 4509 West Stone Drive, Kingsport, TN 37660 due to unique capability. BAE Ordnance System is the only known U.S, supplier of CXM-10 Type II. Both CSM-10 Type II and Type II must meet MIL-DTL-32189B specification. All responsible sources must be registed in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to susan.wigfield@navy.mil or mailed to the Contracting Office Address listed below no later than 5 days from this notice date. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the item without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Electronic delivery of quotations are preferred. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO.
