Description

1.Contractor shall provide asbestos abatement monitoring services for the abatement of the following areas in Bldg. 1; Rooms D135(113 sqft), D137(109 sqft), D139(108 sqft), D141 (116 sqft), D143 (116 sqft), D145 (116 sqft), D147 (116 sqft), D149 (122 sqft), E101 (184 sqft), E101A (129 sqft), E103 (92 sqft), E105 (657 sqft) in Bldg. 1 2.This project is the monitoring of the contract which will result from solicitation VA69D-15-Q-1342. This project shall be accomplished during normal working hours. When work is in progress, the contractor shall ensure that hospital operations are not impeded. This project is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB's). All prospective contractors must be verified on the Center for Veterans Enterprises (CVE) website, www.vetbiz.gov, to be considered for award. The solicitation, will be posted on www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will be issued on/about 02 September 2015 and closed on or about 18 September 2015. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, of the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms. The project magnitude range is less than $25,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 562910. Time for completion is 30 days after Notice to Proceed.
