Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 332999 (All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing) and whether or not these items requested are offered on a federal supply schedule. The Department of Veteran's Affairs is seeking sources to supply and install a custom pharmacy safe to safeguard narcotics within the Inpatient Pharmacy. Pharmacy Safe requirements are as follows: Silver TL-30 Composite Safe that stands between 82" and 86" and is rated UL TL-30. This will be no less than 36" wide but no more than 38" wide x no less than 34" deep but no more than 37" deep with ten adjustable shelves. Dimensions required to utilize maximum space. The safe must meet Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) requirements, which is equipped with a Group 1R MP lock required for security purposes. Safe shall be fire tested for quality and fire resistant materials used. Steel plates are enclosed within the exterior and interior areas of the safe. Group 1 Manipulation Proof Lock, Dial, and Ring Set for security. The removal of the old safe is required before the installation of the new composite safe. All work will be coordinated through the COR, and take place during the hours of Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this product. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 332999 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to James.Hedman2@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on September 9, 2015.
