- This is a sources sought announcement only. A solicitation is not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Federal Government. This is a sources sought synopsis only for market research. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS 339116 (size standard of 500 employees). Large size businesses are encouraged to respond as well. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions, thereafter a review of responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the Fedbizopps website (https://www.fbo.gov). The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking a dental laboratory to provide custom-made dental prostheses and dental appliances for Veterans receiving dental services. These items shall be acquired for five VISN22 sites via a cost per request and delivered respectfully. VISN 22 sites to include the Greater Los Angeles, Long Beach, Loma Linda, San Diego, and Southern Nevada Healthcare Systems. The Contractor shall provide all transportation, labor, supplies, supervision, and materials required to fabricate specified Dental prosthesis in accordance with prescription specifications. The Contractor shall pick-up prescriptions and molds for fixed prosthetics and removable prosthetics. The Contractor shall be a full-service laboratory that can integrate the combined treatment needs of the prosthetic patient requiring simultaneous fixed, removable, and implant supported prosthesis. The intended contract is for Base plus 4 option years. Response to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, size of business, socio-economical category, and a brief summary of how your company meets the needs of the government (no longer than one (1) page). The response must also identify whether or not the suggested platform, in its entirety including services, is on the sources FSS contract and to which FSS contract it is on. Responses to this notice shall be via e-mail to: Andre.Jeanpierre@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 2:00 P.M. PST September 14th, 2015. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
