- This is PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The US Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, St. Cloud, MN, hereinafter referred to as SCVAHCS located at 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621999 with a size standard of $15 million. The VA will award a firm, fixed price IDIQ, commercial services contract. Contract use will be limited to St. Cloud VA Health Care System only. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12 - month base year with four (4) 12 - month options to renew. Service will begin November 1, 2015 through October 31, 2016 for the base year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about September 08, 2015 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The VISN 23 St. Cloud VA Health Care System (SCVAHCS) has a need for a Virtual Pharmacist to provide Virtual Pharmacy services. The Contractor shall provide the services of a full-time Virtual Pharmacist to complete pending inpatient orders (including those administered by the intravenous route) for the St. Cloud Veteran Affairs Health Care System (SCVAHCS). This includes the professional review and problem solving needed to assure safe appropriate medication processing. Virtual pharmacy services include licensed pharmacist review of patient medication orders by remote (computer) methods. The IGCE for this acquisition is $530,550.00. The Government intends to award one full-time contract for the provision of a Virtual Pharmacy for VA beneficiaries at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center, 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303. Due to the criticality of the service, in addition to the primary virtual pharmacist, the Contractor shall ensure that qualified pharmacists are available on an on-call status to cover vacancies caused for any reason. No support or on-site pharmacy personnel will be required by this contract. Additionally, the bulk of these services will be provided to inpatients (acute care).
