This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals (RFP) or request for quotes (RFQ) and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339114. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall be in writing and include the following: a)Company name b)Address c)Point of contact d)Phone, fax, and email e)DUNS number f)Cage Code g)Tax ID Number h)Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business i)Provide a copy of your company's current Representations and Certifications from www.sam.gov. j)Must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor in accordance with the statement of work k)Provide any certifications and/or licenses, test/calibration equipment, and evidence of the ability of obtaining original equipment manufacturer parts, i.e. D-2 Operator License. l)Provide previous contracts that are similar in nature and complexity. m)Any other pertinent information that may assist the Government in relation to this requirement, commercial standards, industry best practices, etc. n)Estimated cost After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published to www.FBO.gov. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offeror(s) will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, is seeking sources to provide angiographic guidewires and supplies for the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC). Please see the attachment requirement details and scope of work. Comments and suggestions on the attached SOW is highly encouraged and recommended as this will assist the Government in conforming to best practices and commercial industry standards. The intended contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award. The delivery address is as follows: Department of Veterans Affairs Michael E. Important information: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.
