Description

LIMITED SOURCE J&A Notice of Intent to Sole Source (Limited Source) The National Archives and Records Administration intends to conduct negotiations on a sole source basis with Siemens Government Technology for telephone system server equipment, install and licensing of PROC CENTER ACD OpenScape Call Center (OSCC) for installation at the National Personnel Records Center, Saint Louis, MO, and at Archives II, College Park, MD. This expands the current system and provides a failover solution to handle calls due to a local phone outage. This is in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b) "Item Peculiar to One Manufacturer", 41 U.S.C. 3304 (a) (1), et seq - Title III of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 and Title 40 U.S.C. 501. The contract will be a fixed priced Federal Supply Schedule task order award. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, pricing data and other information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement within 15 calendar days of this notice. No contract award will be made on the basis of information received in response to this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
