Description: THE PURPOSE OF THIS CHANGE IS TO REMOVE THE REQUIREMENT FOR SOA CERTIFICATION OG12 CLASSIFICATION I UNDER quote mark MANDATORY REQUISITES FOR PARTICIPATION quote mark. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this acquisition is to perform the Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) survey service to include the preparation of the necessary documentation required by the Italian Safety Law, D.Lgs. n. 81/2008, Sec. II, art. 28.1, as modified by Italian law 177/2012. The Italian Safety Law requires a risk assessment as part of the Safety plan for excavation activities near buildings 154 in Del Din Area in Vicenza. The UXO survey will be focused to report World War II (W.W.II) ordnance in the area (about 3,910.00 m ) and to obtain clearance certification from Italian 5th Command Infrastructure BCM office located in Padova,Italy. It will be extended to 7 m depth from ground level (deep survey) in compliance with the Italian Minister of Defense Pamphlet (Capitolato BCM, Ministero della Difesa - fonte tecnica di riferimento). As result of the survey the Contractor shall prepare a course of action report inclusive of the related rough costs estimate. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Work shall be performed near building 154 at the Del Din site in Vicenza Italy. EVALUATION PROCESS: The award criteria will be established in the solicitation. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: The Contractor shall provide all management services, supervision, personnel, labor, vehicles, materials, tools, supplies, transportation and specialized equipment in compliance with the Italian Safety Law D.L.gs n. 81/2008, Sec. II, art. 28.1, as modified by Italian Law 1722/2012, and all other items and services necessary to perform the required UXO survey. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The U.S. Government will award a Firm Fixed Price Contract. SERVICE PERFORMANCE: The Contractor shall perform the service in accordance with the Performance Work Statement, which will address all the activities of the requirement. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 60 calendar days from date of award.
