Description
This notice is issued by InuTeq, LLC to post a Statement of Work (SOW) via the internet, and solicit responses from interested parties. This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promote competition. The Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) DATR operates and maintains legacy VHF and UHF radio transceivers in support of range operations. The transceivers support the communications bands of 116-152 MHz and 225-399.974 MHz Apparent is the decreasing number of spare parts available to support future repairs of these legacy radio transceivers. With these facts, it would be most advantages to buy new transceivers. This SOW will outline in detail the requirements of 56 new transceivers to be procured. Based on funding availabilities, a lower quantity may have to be procured. Please provide cost per unit, delivery lead time, number of current fielded units and known failure rates, test capabilities and current specifications and brochures of existing product that meets the criteria of section II in the SOW. Prospective offerors are invited to submit written comments or questions to: Anne Jordan via email to afrc-rfess-procurement@mail.nasa.gov, no later than 9/11/2015. When responding reference the solicitation number, INU-15-020. Responses will be posted on this site by close of business on 9/23/2015. Proposals are due 9/30/2015. This presolicitation synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by InuTeq, LLC, nor will InuTeq, LLC pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/AFRC Business Opportunities home page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=24 It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
