Description

SOW THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), is soliciting for capability statements from all interested Small Business parties who are certified to provide a Matrix SPM Control System Upgrade with AFM extension to an existing NIST owned Omicron VT-AFM at the NIST Boulder CO Laboratory for the Ion-Trap Surfaces Project Division. The services are intended to provide Kelvin measurements with greater resolution and speed, and spectroscopic measurements not possible with the existing SCALA control system, in accordance with the attached SOW specifications. The NAICS code for the proposed acquisition is 811219, and the Small Business size standard is $20.5M. NIST is requesting examples of related information showing the ability to meet the qualifications and requirement identified in the attached Statement of Work. All interested parties shall submit an electronic response package no later than Thursday, August 27, 2015, 08:00am Mountain Time.
