Description: Amendment #0001: (a) Revises Part IV - Section L, Item L001 - Submission of Offer; (b) Publicize the Site Visit Attendees; (c) Answers questions submitted by contractors. This amendment is incorporated into the solicitation. All potential offerors must acknowledged all amendments in their proposal submission. The FAA, Western Service Area intends to award a contract to a qualified, responsive contractor to perform facilities management and maintenance of building, systems, and equipment that consist of but not limited to: Operations Management, Preventive Maintenance, janitorial services and mail distribution services. The FAA contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract with provisions for Time and Material pricing. A tiered evaluation of offers will be used in source selection for this contract. The tiered order of precedence for considering offers is (from first to last): Tier 1 “ Certified 8(a) Business; Tier 2 “ Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; Tier 3 “ All other Small Business; Tier 4 “ Other than Small Business. Each tier will be evaluated using the procedure outline below: 1. A determination of insufficient competition or unreasonable price will be made before the next tier is evaluated. 2. Directions on tiered evaluation are outlined in Section M, in addition to evaluation factors for award. -Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price with provisions for Time and Material -Service Contract Act Wage Determination Rates Apply -Offers Due: August 31, 2015 at 2:00PM PACIFIC TIME -NAICS Code: 561210 Facilities Support Services, $38.5 million Summary of Services: Base Period: November 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016, plus 4 option years. DETAILS FOR ATTENDING SITE VISIT: There is a one-time site visit scheduled on AUGUST 11, 2015 at 8:00 am (MST) at the FAA Technical Operations Center Building. FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. a. The meeting point for the site visit is: FAA Technical Operations Center (TOC) 26805 East 68th Avenue Denver, CO 80249-6360 b. To attend the site visit, advance notice is required by August 7, 2015 at 2:00PM Pacific Time to the FAA POC identified below. You are required to provide your company name and representative(s) full name and contact phone number(s). There will be no substitutions or add-ons after the cutoff date. All questions from the site visit must be submitted in writing according to the RFO ™s instructions in Section B, Clause B002 Solicitation Questions.
