Description

SOW Cases & Bases Cases & Bases Diagrams Overview The Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking the services of a professional wood maker/ carpenter familiar with Federal curatorial standards and practices, to provide the following product and/or services for the American Merchant Marine Museum (AMMM) Kings Point, NY. •Provide or either secure a Plexiglass case and base (See attached diagrams) •Build and deliver (6) six like-wooden base/cases with cherry plinth, plexi-glass top, and painted to match existing museum cases Instructions & Evaluations •The procurement is set-aside for Small Business. Only quotes submitted by Small Business will be accepted by the Government •Any quote that is submitted by a vendor that is not Small Business will not be considered for award •The government reserves the right to not award to any vendor not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of award •The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be deemed the lowest technically acceptable offer Delivery Information A general loading dock with a forklift for AMMM deliveries is available (espcially for large or oversized items). Also, there is a large parking area in back of the museum.
