- This acquisition is a Prospective 100% set aside for Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 812220 (Cemeteries and Crematories) $20.5 Million size standard. Please note: That this is not a request for quotes or proposals; this is a pre-solicitation notice to inform all interested parties that the VA National Cemetery Administration as directed by the VA Tahoma National Cemetery will solicit a Small Business Set-Aside proposal. Award will consist of one time Purchase order. The intent of an awarded contract shall be to Install Vase & Trash Containers w/ Water Faucet. Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 Southeast 240th St Kent, WA. 98042 1.GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor and supervision to construct Vase/Trash Containers and Water at (3) Three locations. One location on the north and south end of Section 7 and one at Columbaria Wall AA. The work is located at the Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 Southeast 240th Street, Kent, WA. 98042 Director: Tom Yokes TEL: (425) 431-9614 x4110 Tom.Yokes@va.gov Contracting Officer's Representative (COR): Mark Daigneault TEL: (425)431-9614 x4107 Mark.Daigneault@va.gov Work in this project includes but is not limited to: 1.Provide 4" thick paving with #4 bars @ 16" o.c. with 6" thickened edge with dimensions as shown on drawings. Install over 4" base and undisturbed soil or compacted subgrade 2.Install concrete post on thickened slab w/ "DO NOT DRINK" signage on three sides. Provide ¾" diameter hole for water supply/faucet. 3.Install crushed rock and PVC drain for faucet. Connect to dry well. Slope to drain. 4.Install water supply to faucet with pressure reducing valve and ball valve shut off in concrete valve assembly box. 5.Install curb around rock at drainage area. 6.Install 42"Trash Receptacles and 36"Flower Vase Receptacles (Victor-Stanley or equal) with stainless steel expansion bolts attached to concrete paving. Site work will be accomplished between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30, Monday through Friday, except Federal Holidays. All work will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Only the Contracting Officer (CO) has the authority to make changes to the contract that affects price and/or time. Work will be conducted in such a manner to minimize the impact on the Cemetery operations. 2.GENERAL REQUIREMENTS See attached specification: General Requirements 01 00 02. Also, refer to Submittals Section 01 33 23, Site Furnishings Section 12 93 00 3.WARRANTY The Contractor shall guarantee that all work done under this contract will be free from faulty materials or workmanship. The Contractor hereby agrees to repair or replace without cost to the VA and to his/her satisfaction all defects or imperfection appearing in said work within a period of one (1) year after the date of final acceptance by the VA of all work done under this contract. Contractor must respond within 48-hours to perform any warranty work. Time to have parts delivered to site that are not locally available is not included in this 48-hour response time. ----END---
