Description

RFQ for Halo Plus 3 'Brand Name or Equal' Tissue analysis software The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) conducts research on the safety and efficacy of drugs. In order to do this, the drug reviewers must evaluate neuropathology findings. CDER is currently developing an MRI -histopathology method that will vastly improve the quality of neuropathology evidence supplied in support of new drug approval. In order to validate this method, researchers must compare and co-register brain neuropathology digitalized images of nervous system injury to MRI images of the same areas and evaluate how closely the loci of these corresponding areas match up to each other. The purpose of this combined synopsis/solicitation is to purchase image analysis software that is capable of isolating, comparing and analyzing critical components of the above described digitalized images to determine how closely they match or co-register in order to be able to validate this method and subsequently qualify a biomarker of neurotoxicity.
