- 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no further written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number FA8307-15-R-0230 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division's Contracting Office (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Lackland TX, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures resulting from this solicitation. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation may be obtained in full text form at the FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. 2. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business offerors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335912 - Primary Battery Manufacturing. The size standard is 1,000 employees IAW FAR 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations (Oct 2014). 3. Description of items: This requirement is for 3367 Battery Sets, KOK-22, Part Number: 0N632761-2, NSN: 6135-01-436-7035CS. Delivery will be FOB to AFLCMC/HNCADR, 230 Hall Blvd STE 158, Bldg. 2028, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX, 78243-7052. Inspection/acceptance will be made at destination. Delivery will begin no later than 30 days after award with a delivery schedule agreed upon by both parties. Upon request from interested parties, drawings will be provided by the Government. All requests for drawings shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Tina Pettyjohn, tina.pettyjohn.1@us.af.mil or the Contracting Officer, Ms. Debra Jenrette, debra.jenrette@us.af.mil no later than 2:00PM, 8/24/2015. In addition, interested offerors must submit their representations and certifications in accordance with the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Item, with their request for drawings. Reproduction of the drawing(s) is strictly prohibited. 4. The Government will award a single purchase order resulting from this RFP in accordance with the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value in terms of technical capability/acceptability, price, and delivery schedule.
