Description

VETERANS AFFAIRS WANTS TO LEASE SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield 20,500 to 20,600 usable square feet in Aurora, CO for use as research, clinical and special programs space. The space must be on no more than 1 floor of contiguous space and can be provided by new construction or modification of existing space. On-site surface parking for 136 vehicles is required. A lease for up to 10 years will be considered. Space within or fronting on the following boundaries will be considered: North: E McCloskey Ave East: I-225 South: E. Colfax Ave West: N Wheeling St The desired location would be within walking distance (1/2 mile or 10 minutes) from the center point of the new medical center location on the Fitzsimmons Campus to allow staff and patients convenient access. The space must have a safe (sidewalks) pedestrian path from the medical center location. Additionally easy access to light rail/major highways is a major consideration and this location is next to the new medical center and a light rail stop. A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA.
