Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source delivery order with Steris Corporation to provide and install a Caviwave Pro Ultrasonic cleaner at the Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. The Steris Corporation is the manufacturer of the Caviwave Pro and the only vendor who is capable of providing a replacement Caviwave Pro matching the existing ultrasonic cleaner currently being used at the facility. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. The Delivery order will be firm fixed price and F.O.B. Destination. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 2:00 PM (EST) August 21st, 2015. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, GLAC, 115 S. 84th St., Suite 101, Milwaukee WI 53214-1476 or via fax to (414) 844-4878 or via email to matthew.wright2@va.gov. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Steris Corporation.
