Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Lebanon, PA, requires a contractor who shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary for roadway and parking lot repairs to the Front Drive, Main Loop Intersection and over 400,000 sf of various parking lots. Requirements include saw-cutting, removal of damaged asphalt and stone base and replacing with new materials. Removal of debris from parking lots, clean out designated cracks, seal cracks, prime oil spots, restripe and sealcoat parking lots. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, tools, supervision, equipment, permits, testing and reports in accordance with all federal, state and local codes and regulations. The magnitude of this Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center (PVAMC) construction project is estimated to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The project is to be completed 120 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The acquisition is subject to local prevailing wage rates. (Note that the Contracting Office is located in Philadelphia, PA but the Work Performance Site shall be Lebanon, PA). Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is to be issued as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. The firm must be a small business under the relevant North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. The NAICS code for this project is 237310 and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million. The firm must be registered and current in the following websites: www.sam.gov and www.vetbiz.gov. Bidders must ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. A Site Visit will be held approximately two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the Site Visit will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about Aug 27, 2015.
