- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is W912L1-15-T-0216_01 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83-2. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339920 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-08-24 13:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be in the Place of Performance. The National Guard - Texas requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Contoured Focus Mitts- The vendor shall provide 24 pairs of Fairtex FMV9 Ultimate Contoured Focus Mitts or equivalent. Name brand is for comparison purposes only and should not be construed as the only item that may be acceptable. Proposed mitts should be comparable to the Fairtex Ultimate Contoured Focus Mitts. -Proposed item must meet the following minimum specifications: Contoured Hand Compartment Foam layered pad Leather padded wrist band Leather construction -Vendor shall state warranty details (if included), specifications and include images., 24, EA; LI 002: Curved Standard Thai Pads- The vendor shall provide 7 Fairtex KPLC2 Curved Standard Thai Pads or equivalent. Name brand is for comparison purposes only and should not be construed as the only item that may be acceptable. Proposed pads should be comparable to the Fairtex Curved Standard Thai Pads. -Proposed item must meet the following minimum specifications: Curved design made from premium leather Padded straps and forearm support Vendor shall state warranty details (if included), specifications and include images, 7, EA; LI 003: Belly pad- The vendor shall provide 4 Fairtex Lightweight Belly Pad or equivalent. Proposed pads should be comparable to the Fairtex Lightweight Belly Pad. -Proposed item must meet the following minimum specifications: Wrap around design Leather construction Minimum 2.75? of padding Vendor shall state warranty details (if included), specifications and include images., 4, EA; LI 004: Trainer's Body Guard- The vendor shall provide 4 Fairtex Trainer?s Body Guard or equivalent. Proposed guard should be comparable to the Fairtex Trainer?s Body Guard. -Proposed item must meet the following minimum specifications: Leather construction Padding system Shoulder and waist clip straps Vendor shall state warranty details (if included), specifications and include images., 4, EA; LI 005: Thigh Pads- The vendor shall provide 14 pairs of Fairtex Thigh Pads or equivalent. Proposed pads should be comparable to the Fairtex Thigh Pads. -Proposed item must meet the following minimum specifications: Leather construction Padding system Lace up and clip straps for support Target points -Vendor shall state warranty details (if included), specifications and include images., 14, EA; LI 006: Throwing Dummy- The vendor shall provide 6 Fairtex MMA Throwing Dummy or equivalent. Proposed dummy should be comparable to the Fairtex MMA Throwing Dummy -Proposed item must meet the following minimum specifications: 60?x16?x16? and approx 60lbs Works with stand up striking and ground striking Vendor shall state warranty details (if included), specifications and include images., 6, EA; LI 007: MMA Gloves- The vendor shall provide 30 pairs of Combat Sports Pro Style MMA Gloves or equivalent. Proposed gloves should be comparable to the Combat Sports Pro Style MMA Gloves. -Proposed item must meet the following minimum specifications: 6 X-Large 12 Large 12 Regular 5ounce weight At least 3/4inch paddin Open palm Synthetic Leather or Leather construction Vendor shall state warranty details (if included), specifications and include images., 30, EA; LI 008: Grappling Dummy- The vendor shall provide 6 Revgear Motion Master Grappling Dummy or equivalent. Name brand is for comparison purposes only and should not be construed as the only item that may be acceptable. Proposed dummy should be comparable to the Revgear Motion Master Grappling Dummy. -Proposed item must meet the following minimum specifications: Approx 54?x21?x12? Approx 55lbs Vendor shall state warranty details (if included) and include a brochure (specifications)., 6, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.fedbid.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, National Guard - Texas intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. National Guard - Texas is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
