- Conduct surveillance testing on 148 FZU-32 Initiators and 162 FZU-48 Initiators Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a sole source basis for the 1 JOB; Conduct surveillance testing on 148 FZU-32 Initiators and 162 FZU-48 Initiators at L-3 using the production test equipment as originally used for factory acceptance testing at the time in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. This requirement is sole sourced to L-3, 3975 McMann Road, Cincinnati, Ohio due to L-3 is the only company with the production wind tunnel and test cart to test these items per the production specifications. Any firms believing that they can provide a Quote for N68936-15-T-02651 JOB; Conduct surveillance testing on 148 FZU-32 Initiators and 162 FZU-48 Initiators at L-3 using the production test equipment as originally used for factory acceptance testing at the time using the production wind tunnel and test cart to test these items per the production specifications may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the Surveillance Testing on 148 FZU-32 Initiators and 162 FZU-48 Initiators without causing programmatic hardship.
