- Description
- The Missile Defense Agency posted the Technical, Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) Request for Proposal (RFP) Industry Day briefing charts to FBO on February 6, 2015 and briefed them during Industry Day on February 11, 2015 indicating a requirement to evaluate each offeror's "Cybersecurity Risk Management Plan". The Agency has removed the requirement to provide a Cybersecurity Plan to be evaluated in the MDA Source Selection Evaluation Boards from future draft and final RFPs. RFPs that are in Source Selection, or that are "Final" and have not been amended/revised take precedence over this announcement. This announcement is for planning purposes for future draft or final RFP releases only. Industry will still be expected to comply with contractual requirements for Cybersecurity in accordance with applicable DFARS clauses and NIST security controls as stipulated in each RFP. Industry is also cautioned to review each RFP independently of this announcement in the event future requirements are adjusted on an RFP specific basis. This announcement is for information planning purposes only and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any actual procurement of services. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation or a promise of a solicitation in the future. This announcement does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service.
