Description
THIS IS A SUBCONTRATING OPPORTUNITY INTRODUCTION Homestead Job Corps is seeking proposals to purchase a commercial dishwasher for our Dining Hall. SCOPE OF WORK Vendor will provide a written proposal for a conveyor dishwasher. 86" machine with right to left operation, 480/60/3 voltage to include the booster. Vendor may use Hobart CLPS86e Model as a reference. Hobart CLPS86e model may be submitted in a proposal, although different makes and models will be accepted as long as specifications are the same. All items must include no less than 1 or greater years (s) limited parts & labor warranty. Proposal must include freight, labor and material costs. Labor and material costs must be listed separately. Contractor must provide all materials necessary to complete project. Proposal must include installation costs to be listed separately. Installation to include: • Receiving equipment at job site, uncrating and setting in place. • Remove and discard all boxes and crating for disposal in job site dumpster. • Disconnect and removal of existing Hobart Model CRS86a. • Electrical, plumbing and final connections. • Demonstration of equipment startup and test. • Operation of equipment must meet the satisfaction of our Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The period of performance for this project will be determined after contractor selection has been made. LOCATION The selected vendor for this project will perform the work at Homestead Job Corps Center, Dining Hall, 12350 SW 285 Street, Homestead, FL 33033. REQUIREMENTS  Contractors must complete a Vendor Packet (provided by the Purchasing Agent). Interested parties must contact the Purchasing Agent to request Vendor Packet.  Contractors must be registered on https://www.sam.gov and be active without debarment from doing business with the government.  Contractors must provide proof of liability insurance and business license with Vendor Packet.  Homestead Job Corps Center is a federally funded facility and entitled to GSA pricing.  All fees and surcharges, if any, should be noted on quote or charges will not be paid if invoiced.  If a site-visit is required in order to provide an accurate quote. Contact the Purchasing Agent to make arrangements.  The contractor and its employees must abide by all of the Center's rules and regulations. There shall be no fraternization between contractor and Homestead Job Corps Center students.  Payment terms are Net 30 days from date of invoice.  We reserve the right to reject any bids and select the bid deemed most responsible. Bidders should be aware of bid requirements for federally funded projects and act accordingly.  This agreement is not intended by the parties to constitute or create a joint venture, partnership, formal business organization of any kind, or employer/employee relationship between the parties, and the rights and obligations of all parties shall be only those expressly set forth herein. Neither party shall have authority to bind the other except to the extent authorized herein. The parties to this agreement shall remain as independent contractors at all times, and neither party shall act as the agent for the other.  Subcontractor shall secure and keep current, at its own expense, all licenses and other certifications required by law or otherwise necessary to fulfill the statement of work. Subcontractor shall be solely and exclusively liable to third parties for all costs incurred by the subcontractor and for all claims of damage against the subcontractor arising out of or based on subcontractor's performance of this agreement, and is responsible for maintaining proper insurance, at the subcontractor's sole expense, to cover any and all such contingencies. Subcontractor shall also assume full responsibility for payment of any and all federal, state, and local taxes or contributions imposed or required under unemployment insurance, social security, and income tax laws, with respect to subcontractor's performance under this agreement.  All questions regarding this Request for Proposal and/or scope of work must be submitted via email to: richarte.citlally@jobcorps.org.
