- MPFUB Modular Docking System THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. There is no solicitation available at this time. This Sources Sought Notice is published for market research purposes only. Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) is seeking for potential qualified 8(a), historically underutilized business zone (HUBZONE) small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), and small business sources to provide modular, floating, drive-on docking systems as specified in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The intent of the requirement includes, but is not limited to: one (1) modular, floating, drive-on docking systems for the MPFUBs for Assault Craft Unit ONE (ACU-1). This requirement should include shipping, initial installation, training, services for managing/installing the docking system. The docking system must be delivered to and installed at NAB Coronado, San Diego, CA for ACU-1. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to identify interested/qualified small business concerns to determine if a set-aside is warranted. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 336999 (Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing), which has a small business size standard of 500 employees. The work may be performed at location that is unknown at this time. The work requires sources to meet the mandatory compliances and access requirements as specified in the PWS. Only a brief statement of qualifications and capabilities (not to exceed five (5) pages) is requested at this time. At a minimum, provide the following information in your submittal: 1) Company name; 2) Company point of contact, including address, phone and e-mail; 3) CAGE Code and DUNS number; 4) Business size standard as registered in the System for Award Management (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) for NAICS 336999 (Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing). Identify all that apply for the following business sizes: small business, 8(a), HUBZone small business, SDVOSB; and 4) Statement of qualifications and capabilities to include experience relative to this procurement, or any other information that clearly demonstrates the respondents capabilities, expertise and experience to perform the requirements relative to the attached draft PWS. General marketing material may be included, but must fall within the (5) page submittal requirement. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional areas expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. This Sources Sought does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does this issuance restrict the Government ™s acquisition approach. The Government does not intend to award a contract solely on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse the respondent for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any industry input as a result of this announcement. The Government recognizes that proprietary data may be a part of your submittal. If so, clearly mark such restricted or proprietary data and present it as an addendum to the non-restricted/non-proprietary information. All submittals received will be reviewed for informational purposes.
