- VETERANS AFFAIRS SEEKING MEDICAL SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease 400 parking spaces in Durham, NC. The space must be handicap accessible in accordance with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A) the space must be immediately ready for use. The lease will be a full service lease with a lease term for five (5) years, with one (1) five (5) year option for a total of ten (10) years. The available space must be within the following delineated area, 2 Mile Radius from (intersection of Fulton Street / Erwin Road) Durham, North Carolina West Carver Street to the North State Route 501 to the East and to the South State Route 751 to the South and to the West Interested offerors should contact Contract Specialist Daniel Rakes via E-Mail at Daniel.Rakes@va.gov or by mail at Daniel Rakes, Salisbury VAMC 1601 Brenner Ave. Bldg 21B Salisbury, NC 28144. Interested offerors must submit the address, property description, available parking, and photographs. Also, a map or proof that the proposed property is within the delineated area is required. Contact is required by 4:30 EST August 16, 2015 The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. Please note: A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA personnel. This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals.
