- NOTICE OF DECISION TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE-SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award a single-source purchase order to Randox Laboratories Limited to provide testing equipment for the FAA Forensic Toxicology Research Laboratory. This procurement is single-source due to the unique requirements of the FAA Forensic Toxicology Laboratory and, Randox Laboratories manufacturing the only specialized equipment to meet those needs. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures.
