Description

Sole Source Justification THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The USDA/ARS intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, to: Lotek Wireless 115 Pony Drive Newmarket, ON L3 Y 7B5 Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to procure combined GPS and VHF tracking collars for white tailed deer. This requirement will be for the purchase of GPS 6000M for white tailed deer (Qty. 40) and GlobalStar Track L Collar for white tailed deer (Qty. 10). The NAICS code for this requirement is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750 emplyees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 1:00 PM Central Time on August 20, 2015 will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Josh Dobereiner at josh.dobereiner@ars.usda.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED.
