- The Federal Aviation Administration has an urgent requirement for Scheduled Maintenance for JPATS Boeing 737 aircrafts with firm delivery/induction dates. Accelerated schedule, (i.e., the turn time) is preferred. This solicitation/request for offer is available for full and open competition and does not contain a set-aside restriction. Both large and small businesses may participate. Offers must be submitted electronically by the due date and time to the contracting officer via email at monica.price@faa.gov. The anticipated contract type is a purchase order. Terms and conditions are attached. The award decision will be based on Trade-off source selection process to arrive at a best value for the government. Each offer must furnish the information requested and will be evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria. In addition, This RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested offer documentation. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $570,000.
