- NAVFAC SW, FEAD Coronado, intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13, to Safety Performance Solutions, Inc. (SPS), 610 N Main St., Blacksburg, VA, 24060. The proposed contract action is a safety culture survey. See attached performance work statement (PWS) and justification. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. The NAICS code is 541690 and the applicable business size is $15M. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number.
