- Updated Draft PWS - 7Aug15 PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE (INDUSTRY DAY) ANNOUNCEMENT The U.S. Transportation Command has identified a continued need for Information Technology (IT) services and intends to hold an Industry Day specific to the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Enterprise Support requirement. The IT services desired are to support the Command, Control, Communications and Cyber Systems (C4S) environment which interface with numerous on-site and remote commercial, DoD, service and common user networks while supporting a myriad of applications with transformation to an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) focused organization. EVENT DESCRIPTION: A pre-solicitation conference will be conducted at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois on 1 September 2015. The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide information to potential offerors and their teams about the upcoming ITSM Enterprise Support contract and gather industry input. This Industry Day will be comprised of two days. The first day will include an ITSM Enterprise Support requirement familiarization briefing in the morning, followed by optional one-on-one industry partner sessions in the afternoon. The following day, 2 September 2015 is reserved to accommodate one-on-one sessions if needed. The one-on-one sessions will be an opportunity for industry partners to discuss the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). See attachment. The one-on-one sessions are not intended for capability briefs but to allow for open discussions with Government personnel. INDUSTRY INPUT: The acquisition strategy for this effort has not been finalized. The Government welcomes industry input on the following:  Commerciality of ITSM Enterprise Support services  Recommended contract type  Incentive arrangements  Evaluation structure Input can be provided to the POC identified herein at any time prior to the Industry Day or during one-on-one sessions. PWS specific questions may be submitted in advance. Please provide questions to the POC below by COB 21 August 2015. Common questions and answers may be addressed during the familiarization briefing. INDUSTRY DAY & TENTATIVE SCHEDULE Day 1: 1 September 2015 0730 Check - In 0800 Familiarization Briefings 1130 Break for Lunch 1230 - 1630 One-on-One Sessions Day 2: 2 September 2015 0800 - TBD One-on-One Sessions REGISTRATION: Registration for this event is open to all potential contractors. Space is limited, therefore, each potential contractor may have no more than four (4) attendees. All interested parties must provide the following information for registration: Name Company Name Position Phone Number Email Address Company Address CAGE Code Registration and requests for a One-On-One Session shall be submitted NLT 21 August 2015. One-on-One sessions will be scheduled on a first come/first served basis. Session time will be provided as scheduled. Sessions will be limited in time. This is an UNCLASSIFIED event and therefore, no clearances are required. All persons MUST be United States citizens. Foreign Nationals may not be granted access to the site based on security regulations and procedures. Access to Scott AFB is restricted. Attendees will be required to present identification (e.g. Driver's license, military ID, passport, etc.) which must match the attendee's information provided to the POC herein.
