Description
This is amendment 0003 to the combined synopsis/solicitation entitled NASA Airborne Science Program 2015 Customer Survey, RFQ#NNA15557606Q, posted on 24 July 2015. You are notified that the following changes are made: Response to Questions received from Industry: Reference RFP Statement of Work-- "Travel Requirements: The contractor shall make the following trips during performance of this effort: 1. Purpose: Presentation of results to approximately 50 people Destination: NASA HQ Duration: Not to exceed 2 days 2. Purpose: Follow-up presentation of results to aircraft operations and management teams Destination: Armstrong Flight Research Center, Wallops Flight Facility, and Langley Research Center. Duration: Not to exceed 2 days" Question 1: To clarify, the intention is 4 trips of 2 days duration each to discuss findings at the following centers: NASA HQ, Armstrong Flight Research Center, Wallops Flight Facility, and Langley Research Center? Answer 1: Yes Question 2: Elsewhere the SOW notes: "The contractor shall participate in brainstorming and other discussions with NASA ASP during and after the study results presentations, not to exceed 40 hours." Is it intended that the 40 hour brainstorming and discussion sessions take place only at NASA HQ? Or is this desired at each of the centers visited during debrief? Answer 2: There will be discussions at each of the stops but this references discussions about next steps and recommendations that will likely be on telecons after the presentations. No travel is required for these discussions. Question 3: Is it desired that a report or deliverable summarizing the brainstorming/discussion session(s) be created? Answer 3: No Question 4: Is it estimated that the 40 hour brainstorming/discussion period be in addition to the 2 days anticipated for interview results out-briefing? or inclusive of the 2 days for out-briefing? Answer 4: Up to 40 hrs in addition to the out briefs End of questions and answers. The due date for responses not extended. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.
